Baby Clothes MIDLOTHIAN
Filed Under (Organic Baby Clothes) by Kaye on 03-06-2010
Back before I had my children, I never thought I would join a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I have become a new mother, being able to talk to other mothers about what is taking place in my life has really helped me. We talk about how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share meal plans, and we like to talk about the latest baby clothes we have purchased.
I usually go out with 3 other women, once a fortnight, to find out the latest new. We often meet at Cici's Pizza No 385 (which is in MIDLOTHIAN, VA) as that is fairly central for all of us. Last time was particularly exciting because we chatted about organic baby clothing. I have been feeding my baby boy organic produce from the beginning but I had not considered getting organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most broadly grown products in the world and one of the most devastating to the environment and to farmers. The run off from cotton farms has ruined the environment and in particular water bodies. Organic cotton is grown without the use of artificial fertilisers and pesticides. Rather, organic farming depends upon things like crop rotation, enhancing soils naturally, and using eco friendly pest control practices.
You can buy soft organic cotton baby clothing online from a number of shops. Sckoon has some of the cutest organic baby clothing.

Benefits of Organic Clothing
Buying organic clothes means you are getting products which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less contamination of the environment. No or reduced use of insecticides and fertilisers means less pollution of our land and lakes, reduced diseases for farmers, and fewer health risks for our children by lessening their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.
Several makers of baby clothes also produce a range of organic clothing or you can find shops solely devoted to organic baby clothing. Either way, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are provided for, from toddlers to older children. Of course, organic fashion for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my man.
I am not saying that I am only going to get organic cotton or bamboo cotton clothing (which is an amazing alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am absolutely going try to whenever it is available.
