Baby Clothes MIAMI

Before I had my children, I never thought I would join a mothers group. However, now that I am finally a mother, being able to talk to other parents about what is happening in my life has been a huge help. We discuss how we deal with our children, what to do and not to do, we share baby food recipes, and we like to discuss the newest baby fashions we have bought.

I generally meet with 2 other women, once a month, to catch up on the latest new. We often meet at Grateful Deli (which is in MIAMI, FL) as that is fairly central for all of us. Last month was more eye opening seeing we discussed organic baby clothes. I have been providing my baby organic meals from the start but it had never crossed my mind to getting organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most broadly grown products in the world and one of the most ruinous to the environment and to farm employees. The run off from non-organic cotton farms has damaged the environment and especially water supplies. Organic produce is grown without the need for artificial fertilisers and pesticides. Rather, organic farming depends on things like crop rotation, enhancing soils naturally, and using organic pest control practices.

Benefits of Organic Baby Clothing

Getting organic products means you are getting clothes which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less contamination of our habitat. No or reduced use of insecticides and fertilisers means less pollution of our farms and rivers, fewer health problems for farm workers, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by moderating their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.

Many wholesalers of baby clothes also make a range of organic items or you can find stores solely committed to organic baby clothing. Either way, there are a lot of marks to choose from and all ages are provided for, from toddlers to teenagers. Obviously, organic clothing for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my man.

I am not saying that I am only ever going to get organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is an amazing alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my children but I am without a doubt going try to whenever it is available.
