Baby Clothes MIAMI

Long before I had my children, I never really imagined I would belong to a mothers group. Anyhow, now that I have become a mother, being able to talk to other women about what is happening in my life has really helped me. We discuss how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share baby food recipes, and we enjoy being able to talk about the most recent baby clothes we have bought.

I generally go out with 3 other parents, once a fortnight, to hear about the latest happenings. We often meet at Sakura at Doral (which is in MIAMI, FL) as that is pretty central for all of us. Last time was particularly exciting seeing we discussed organic baby clothing. I have been feeding my baby girl organic produce from the beginning but I had not considered getting organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most popular products in the world and one of the most devastating to the environment and to farmers. The run off from non-organic cotton farms has damaged habitats and especially water supplies. Organic cotton is produced without using artificial fertilisers and pesticides. Alternatively, organic farming relies on things like crop rotation, raising the quality of soils naturally, and using eco friendly pest control practices.

You can get organic cotton baby outfits online from a number of stores. Sckoon has some of the cutest organic baby apparel.

Benefits of Organic Baby Clothing

Purchasing organic clothing means you are purchasing products which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less damage to our habitat. No or reduced use of pesticides and fertilizers means less pollution of our soils and lakes, reduced health problems for farmers, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by lessening their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.

Many producers of baby clothes also make a range of organic clothes or you can find companies solely committed to organic baby clothing. Thankfully, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are provided for, from infants to older children. Obviously, organic fashion for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.

I would not go as far to say that I am just going to get organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is an amazing alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my children but I am definitely going try to whenever possible.
