Baby Clothes MEDINA

Before I had my children, I never really imagined I would be part of a mothers group. However, now that I have become a mother, being able to talk to other parents about what is taking place in my life has been a huge help. We talk about how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share recipes, and we enjoy being able to talk about the latest baby clothes we have picked up.
I generally go out with 2 other mothers, once a week, to catch up on the latest gossip. We generally meet at On Tap (which is in MEDINA, OH) as that is quite central for all of us. Last week was more interesting because we talked about organic baby clothing. I have been feeding my baby girl organic meals from the start but I had not considered getting organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most broadly grown crops in the US and one of the most harmful to the ecosystem and to farm employees. The run off from cotton farms has damaged habitats and especially water ways. Organic products are produced without the need for artificial fertilisers and pesticides. Rather, organic farming relies on things like crop rotation, raising the quality of soils naturally, and using organic pest control techniques.
Benefits of Organic Clothing
Getting organic produce means you are buying clothes which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less damage to our habitat. No or less use of herbicides and fertilisers means less pollution of our farms and waterways, reduced health problems for farm workers, and fewer health risks for our children by reducing their contact with toxic chemicals.
Quite a few wholesalers of baby clothes also make a range of organic items or you can find wholesalers solely devoted to organic baby fashion. Either way, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are catered for, from infants to older children. Naturally, organic clothes for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.
I would not go as far to say that I am only going to purchase organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is an excellent alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am without a doubt going try to whenever possible.
