Back before I had my baby, I never imagined I would join a mothers group. Anyhow, now that I have become a mother, talking to other women about what is happening in my life has benefited me immensely. Benefits of Organic Clothing

Getting organic produce means you are buying clothes which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less damage to our habitat. No or a reduction in the use of insecticides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our soils and rivers, reduced diseases for farmers, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by moderating their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.

A number of makers of baby clothes also make a range of organic clothes or you can find stores entirely committed to organic baby clothes. Thankfully, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are catered for, from babies to teenagers. Naturally, organic clothing for men and women is also obtainable and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.

I am not saying that I am just going to purchase organic cotton or bamboo cotton clothing (which is an excellent alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am definitely going try to whenever possible.
