Baby Clothes MARION
Filed Under (Organic Baby Clothes) by Kaye on 05-07-2010
Long before I had my baby, I never really believed I would belong to a mothers group. Anyhow, now that I have become a mum, talking to other mothers about what is going on in my life has benefited me immensely. We chat about how we deal with our children, what to do and not to do, we share meal plans, and we love to talk about the newest baby outfits we have picked up.
I more often than not get together with 3 other parents, once a week, to hear about the latest happenings. We often meet at Richard's Restaurant (which is in MARION, SC) as that is quite central for all of us. Last time was really eye opening as we talked about baby clothes. I have been giving my baby organic produce from the start but it had never crossed my mind to getting organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most popular products in the US and one of the most harmful to the environment and to farmers. The run off from cotton farms has damaged ecosystems and especially water bodies. Organic products are made without using artificial fertilisers and pesticides. Rather, organic farming depends upon things like crop rotation, raising the quality of soils naturally, and using organic pest control practices.
You can get organic cotton baby apparel online from a number of shops. Sckoon has some gorgeous organic baby clothes.

Benefits of Choosing Organic Products
Purchasing organic clothes means you are buying products which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at a minimum in a way which causes less damage to our habitat. No or a reduction in the use of insecticides and fertilizers means less pollution of our farms and rivers, reduced diseases for farm workers, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by moderating their contact with dangerous chemicals.
Quite a few wholesalers of baby clothes also produce a range of organic clothing or you can find retailers solely devoted to organic baby clothing. Anyway, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are catered for, from babies to older children. Obviously, organic clothes for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.
I do not think that I am just going to get organic cotton or bamboo cotton clothing (which is an excellent alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my children but I am absolutely going try to whenever it is available.
