Baby Clothes MALVERN

Back before I had my children, I never believed I would belong to a mothers group. However, now that I am finally a mum, talking to other women about what is going on in my life has been a huge help. We discuss how we raise our children, what to do and not to do, we share meal plans, and we enjoy being able to talk about the newest baby fashions we have bought.
I usually get together with 4 other mothers, once a week, to catch up on the latest happenings. We often meet at Fiorello's Trattoria (which is in MALVERN, PA) as that is pretty central for all of us. Last time was more eye opening because we talked about organic baby clothing. I have been providing my baby boy organic meals from day one but I had never thought about purchasing organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most widely grown plants in the US and one of the most devastating to the environment and to farm employees. The run off from cotton farms has ruined habitats and especially water supplies. Organic cotton is made without using artificial fertilisers and chemicals. Instead, organic farming relies on things like crop rotation, raising the quality of soils naturally, and using organic pest control methods.
Benefits of Choosing Organic Products
Purchasing organic produce means you are purchasing produce which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less contamination of the environment. No or less use of herbicides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our land and lakes, fewer cancers for farmers, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by reducing their contact with dangerous chemicals.
Quite a few retailers of baby clothes also produce a range of organic clothes or you can find stores completely devoted to organic baby fashion. Thankfully, there are a lot of marks to choose from and all ages are taken care of, from infants to older children. Obviously, organic clothes for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my husband.
I am not saying that I am only ever going to buy organic cotton or bamboo cotton clothing (which is a fantastic alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am without a doubt going try to whenever it is available.
