Baby Clothes LOUISVILLE

Before I had my children, I had not imagined I would belong to a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I have become a new mother, chatting to other mothers about what is going on in my life has really helped me. We chat about how we raise our children, what to do and not to do, we share baby food recipes, and we like to chat about the most recent baby outfits we have picked up.

I generally get together with 3 other mothers, once a fortnight, to hear about the latest new. We often meet at Buckhead Mountain Grill (which is in LOUISVILLE, KY) as that is quite central for all of us. Last week was really interesting seeing we discussed baby clothes. I have been providing my baby organic meals from the beginning but I had not considered getting organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most popular products in America and one of the most harmful to the habitat and to farm employees. The run off from non-organic cotton farms has ruined ecosystems and especially water bodies. Organic produce is grown without the use of artificial fertilisers and pesticides. Instead, organic farming relies on things like crop rotation, raising the quality of soils naturally, and using organic insect control practices.

Benefits of Organic Baby Clothing

Buying organic clothing means you are getting clothes which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less contamination of the environment. No or less use of pesticides and fertilizers means less pollution of our farms and rivers, reduced cancers for farmers, and fewer health risks for children by reducing their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.

Quite a few producers of baby clothes also produce a range of organic clothing or you can find companies completely devoted to organic baby fashion. Anyway, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are catered for, from infants to teenagers. Obviously, organic clothing for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my husband.

I would not go as far to say that I am just going to purchase organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is an excellent alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my children but I am most definitely going try to whenever possible.
