Baby Clothes LIMA

Back before I had my children, I never imagined I would join a mothers group. Anyhow, now that I have become a mother, chatting to other parents about what is happening in my life has benefited me immensely. We discuss how we raise our children, what to do and not to do, we share recipes, and we enjoy being able to talk about the most recent baby fashions we have purchased.

I usually get together with 2 other parents, once a month, to catch up on the latest gossip. We usually meet at Hunan Garden Chinese Restaurant (which is in LIMA, OH) as that is fairly central for all of us. Last month was really exciting seeing we chatted about organic baby clothing. I have been giving my baby girl organic food from the start but it had never crossed my mind to purchasing organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most popular crops in the US and one of the most ruinous to the ecosystem and to farmers. The run off from these farms has destroyed the environment and particularly water ways. Organic cotton is grown without the need for artificial fertilisers and insecticides. Alternatively, organic farming relies on things like crop rotation, enhancing soils naturally, and using organic pest control practices.

You can get organic baby clothing online from a number of shops. Sckoon has some beautiful organic baby clothes.

Benefits of Choosing Organic Products

Buying organic produce means you are buying products which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less pollution of soils and waterways. No or reduced use of insecticides and fertilizers means less pollution of our farms and rivers, less diseases for farm employees, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by reducing their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.

A number of makers of baby clothes also sell a range of organic clothing or you can find shops entirely devoted to organic baby fashion. Anyway, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are taken care of, from infants to adolescents. Obviously, organic clothing for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my man.

I am not saying that I am just going to buy organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is a good alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am most definitely going try to whenever possible.
