Baby Clothes LANSDOWNE

Back before I had my first child, I never thought I would belong to a mothers group. However, now that I have become a mother, being able to talk to other mothers about what is taking place in my life has benefited me immensely. We discuss how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share meal plans, and we love to discuss the latest baby clothes we have purchased.

I usually go out with 4 other parents, once a week, to hear about the latest happenings. We usually meet at Trio Cold Cuts Yeadon (which is in LANSDOWNE, PA) as that is quite central for all of us. Last time was particularly interesting as we chatted about organic baby clothes. I have been giving my baby boy organic food from day one but I had never thought about purchasing organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most popular products in America and one of the most ruinous to the habitat and to farmers. The run off from non-organic cotton farms has ruined ecosystems and especially water supplies. Organic cotton is grown without the use of artificial fertilisers and pesticides. Instead, organic farming relies on things like crop rotation, enhancing soils naturally, and using organic pest control practices.

You can get organic cotton baby clothes online from a number of stores. Sckoon is my favourite for organic baby clothes.

Benefits of Organic Baby Clothing

Getting organic clothes means you are getting produce which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less contamination of the environment. No or reduced use of herbicides and fertilisers means less pollution of our farms and waterways, less health problems for farm employees, and fewer health risks for children by moderating their contact with dangerous chemicals.

Many producers of baby clothes also produce a range of organic clothing or you can find stores entirely dedicated to organic baby fashion. Anyway, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are provided for, from toddlers to teenagers. Obviously, organic fashion for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my man.

I do not think that I am just going to buy organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is an excellent alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am definitely going try to whenever it is available.
