Before I had my children, I had not imagined I would join a mothers group. Anyhow, now that I am a new mother, being able to talk to other parents about what is going on in my life has really helped me. Purchasing organic clothing means you are getting clothes which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less contamination of our habitat. No or reduced use of pesticides and fertilizers means less pollution of our soils and lakes, less health problems for farm employees, and fewer health risks for children by reducing their contact with toxic chemicals.

A number of makers of baby clothes also produce a range of organic clothes or you can find shops solely dedicated to organic baby clothing. Either way, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are catered for, from infants to older children. Obviously, organic clothing for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my man.

I would not go as far to say that I am just going to buy organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is an amazing alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am absolutely going try to whenever it is available.
