Baby Clothes JUPITER

Before I had my children, I never really imagined I would belong to a mothers group. Anyhow, now that I have become a new mother, chatting to other mothers about what is going on in my life has been a huge help. We talk about how we deal with our children, what to do and not to do, we share baby food recipes, and we like to discuss the most recent baby clothes we have picked up.

I more often than not get together with 2 other parents, once a month, to find out the latest gossip. We often meet at Muddy Water Grill & Cafe (which is in JUPITER, FL) as that is fairly central for all of us. Last time was particularly eye opening because we talked about baby clothes. I have been providing my baby organic meals from the beginning but I had never thought about buying organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most broadly grown products in America and one of the most ruinous to the environment and to farm employees. The run off from cotton farms has destroyed ecosystems and in particular water bodies. Organic produce is produced without using artificial fertilisers and pesticides. Alternatively, organic farming depends on things like crop rotation, enhancing soils naturally, and using organic pest control practices.

Benefits of Choosing Organic Products

Buying organic clothing means you are getting products which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less contamination of the environment. No or a reduction in the use of pesticides and fertilisers means less pollution of our farms and rivers, less health problems for farm employees, and fewer health risks for children by reducing their contact with dangerous chemicals.

A number of retailers of baby clothes also make a range of organic clothes or you can find retailers entirely dedicated to organic baby clothes. Either way, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are catered for, from toddlers to older children. Of course, organic clothing for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my husband.

I would not go as far to say that I am just going to get organic cotton or bamboo cotton clothing (which is an excellent alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my children but I am most definitely going try to whenever possible.
