Baby Clothes HUDSON

Back before I had my first child, I had not thought I would belong to a mothers group. However, now that I have become a new mother, chatting to other mothers about what is taking place in my life has benefited me immensely. We talk about how we raise our children, what to do and not to do, we share baby food recipes, and we like to discuss the latest baby outfits we have bought.

I usually get together with 2 other parents, once a month, to catch up on the latest gossip. We generally meet at View Restaurant & Lounge (which is in HUDSON, WI) as that is fairly central for all of us. Last month was particularly exciting seeing we discussed organic baby clothes. I have been giving my baby organic produce from the beginning but it had never crossed my mind to getting organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most broadly grown plants in America and one of the most ruinous to the habitat and to farmers. The run off from these farms has destroyed habitats and particularly water supplies. Organic produce is grown without using artificial fertilisers and insecticides. Instead, organic farming relies on things like crop rotation, raising the quality of soils naturally, and using organic pest control techniques.

Benefits of Organic Baby Clothing

Purchasing organic products means you are buying products which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less contamination of the environment. No or less use of insecticides and fertilizers means less pollution of our farms and lakes, reduced cancers for farm employees, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by reducing their contact with dangerous chemicals.

Quite a few wholesalers of baby clothes also sell a range of organic clothes or you can find designers solely committed to organic baby clothing. Thankfully, there are a lot of marks to choose from and all ages are catered for, from infants to teenagers. Obviously, organic fashion for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my man.

I do not think that I am just going to purchase organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is a good alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am without a doubt going try to whenever possible.
