Baby Clothes HOUSTON

Long before I had my baby, I never thought I would belong to a mothers group. Anyhow, now that I am a mother, being able to talk to other mothers about what is going on in my life has been a huge help. We discuss how we raise our children, what to do and not to do, we share recipes, and we enjoy being able to talk about the latest baby outfits we have bought.
I generally meet with 2 other women, once a fortnight, to catch up on the latest gossip. We usually meet at Murphys Deli (which is in HOUSTON, TX) as that is pretty central for all of us. Last month was more interesting seeing we discussed organic baby clothing. I have been feeding my baby girl organic meals from the start but it had never crossed my mind to getting organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most popular products in the world and one of the most ruinous to the habitat and to farm employees. The run off from non-organic cotton farms has destroyed the environment and in particular water bodies. Organic produce is produced without the use of artificial fertilisers and pesticides. Rather, organic farming relies on things like crop rotation, raising the quality of soils naturally, and using organic insect control methods.
Benefits of Choosing Organic Products
Buying organic products means you are getting produce which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at a minimum in a way which causes less pollution of the environment. No or a reduction in the use of herbicides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our soils and lakes, less diseases for farm employees, and fewer health risks for our children by moderating their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.
Many producers of baby clothes also make a range of organic clothes or you can find wholesalers completely committed to organic baby clothes. Either way, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are catered for, from babies to adolescents. Naturally, organic fashion for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my man.
I do not think that I am just going to buy organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is an excellent alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am absolutely going try to whenever it is available.
