Baby Clothes HARRISBURG

Before I had my baby, I never really believed I would join a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I am a new mother, being able to talk to other parents about what is happening in my life has been a huge help. We discuss how we raise our children, what to do and not to do, we share recipes, and we enjoy being able to discuss the most recent baby outfits we have purchased.
I usually meet with 3 other parents, once a fortnight, to find out the latest gossip. We generally meet at Angie's Family Restaurant & Lounge (which is in HARRISBURG, PA) as that is fairly central for all of us. Last time was really eye opening seeing we discussed organic baby clothes. I have been feeding my baby girl organic produce from the start but I had not considered buying organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most broadly grown crops in the world and one of the most harmful to the habitat and to farmers. The run off from these farms has damaged habitats and particularly water supplies. Organic cotton is grown without the need for artificial fertilisers and pesticides. Instead, organic farming depends on things like crop rotation, enhancing soils naturally, and using organic insect control methods.
Benefits of Choosing Organic Products
Purchasing organic produce means you are buying clothes which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less pollution of our habitat. No or reduced use of insecticides and fertilizers means less pollution of our farms and rivers, fewer health problems for farm employees, and fewer health risks for children by lessening their contact with toxic chemicals.
A number of makers of baby clothes also produce a range of organic clothing or you can find wholesalers entirely dedicated to organic baby clothing. Anyway, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are catered for, from toddlers to older children. Naturally, organic clothing for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my husband.
I do not think that I am just going to get organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is a great alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am without a doubt going try to whenever I can.
