Baby Clothes HARRINGTON
Filed Under (Organic Baby Clothes) by Kaye on 19-05-2009
Long before I had my children, I never really believed I would join a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I am a new mother, chatting to other parents about what is going on in my life has benefited me immensely. We chat about how we raise our children, what to do and not to do, we share recipes, and we like to talk about the newest baby outfits we have bought.
I usually meet with 3 other mothers, once a week, to hear about the latest gossip. We usually meet at Jennifer's Restaurant (which is in HARRINGTON, DE) as that is fairly central for all of us. Last month was really eye opening because we chatted about organic baby clothes. I have been giving my baby organic meals from day one but I had never thought about purchasing organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most broadly grown plants in America and one of the most harmful to the environment and to farm employees. The run off from non-organic cotton farms has destroyed the environment and in particular water supplies. Organic products are made without the need for artificial fertilisers and insecticides. Rather, organic farming depends upon things like crop rotation, improving soils naturally, and using organic pest control methods.
You can purchase beautiful organic baby clothing online from a number of stores. Sckoon is my favourite for organic baby clothing.

Benefits of Organic Clothing
Getting organic produce means you are getting products which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less damage to soils and waterways. No or less use of insecticides and fertilisers means less pollution of our farms and rivers, less cancers for farmers, and fewer health risks for children by lessening their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.
Quite a few retailers of baby clothes also produce a range of organic items or you can find wholesalers entirely dedicated to organic baby clothing. Anyway, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are catered for, from infants to older children. Naturally, organic clothing for men and women is also obtainable and I am looking into that for myself and my husband.
I would not go as far to say that I am just going to get organic cotton or bamboo cotton clothing (which is a great alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am without a doubt going try to whenever possible.
