Baby Clothes HAMDEN

Back before I had my baby, I never really imagined I would be part of a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I am finally a mum, chatting to other women about what is taking place in my life has been a huge help. We chat about how we deal with our children, what to do and not to do, we share meal plans, and we like to chat about the latest baby fashions we have picked up.
I usually go out with 3 other women, once a month, to hear about the latest happenings. We generally meet at Sorrentos Restaurant & Pizzeria (which is in HAMDEN, CT) as that is fairly central for all of us. Last week was particularly interesting as we talked about organic baby clothes. I have been feeding my baby boy organic meals from the beginning but I had not considered buying organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most broadly grown plants in America and one of the most ruinous to the ecosystem and to farm workers. The run off from these farms has ruined habitats and in particular water ways. Organic cotton is produced without using artificial fertilisers and insecticides. Instead, organic farming depends on things like crop rotation, enhancing soils naturally, and using organic insect control techniques.
You can get soft organic cotton baby clothing online from a number of retailers. Sckoon has some of the cutest organic baby clothing.

Benefits of Organic Clothing
Getting organic clothing means you are buying products which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less contamination of our habitat. No or less use of pesticides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our farms and lakes, fewer health problems for farm workers, and fewer health risks for children by moderating their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.
Several producers of baby clothes also produce a range of organic clothing or you can find designers completely committed to organic baby clothes. Anyway, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are provided for, from infants to teenagers. Of course, organic clothing for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.
I do not think that I am only going to get organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is an excellent alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am definitely going try to whenever possible.
