Back before I had my children, I never really believed I would join a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I am a new mother, chatting to other parents about what is happening in my life has been a huge help. The run off from cotton farms has destroyed the environment and in particular water bodies. Organic products are made without the need for artificial fertilisers and pesticides. Instead, organic farming depends on things like crop rotation, enhancing soils naturally, and using eco friendly pest control techniques.

Benefits of Organic Baby Clothing

Buying organic clothes means you are buying produce which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less contamination of the environment. No or reduced use of insecticides and fertilizers means less pollution of our farms and lakes, fewer diseases for farmers, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by reducing their contact with dangerous chemicals.

Several makers of baby clothes also sell a range of organic items or you can find companies entirely devoted to organic baby clothes. Anyway, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are catered for, from infants to adolescents. Obviously, organic clothing for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.

I am not saying that I am only ever going to buy organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is a good alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my children but I am absolutely going try to whenever possible.
