Baby Clothes GREENVILLE

Back before I had my first child, I never believed I would be part of a mothers group. However, now that I have become a new mother, talking to other women about what is happening in my life has really helped me. We chat about how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share meal plans, and we enjoy being able to chat about the most recent baby clothes we have bought.
I usually meet with 3 other mothers, once a fortnight, to catch up on the latest happenings. We often meet at Petee's Drive In (which is in GREENVILLE, SC) as that is fairly central for all of us. Last time was more interesting as we discussed baby clothes. I have been giving my baby girl organic produce from day one but it had never crossed my mind to buying organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most broadly grown crops in the US and one of the most ruinous to the habitat and to farm workers. The run off from non-organic cotton farms has damaged the environment and especially water bodies. Organic produce is made without the use of artificial fertilisers and chemicals. Alternatively, organic farming depends upon things like crop rotation, improving soils naturally, and using eco friendly pest control techniques.
Benefits of Organic Clothing
Buying organic clothes means you are purchasing produce which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at a minimum in a way which causes less pollution of the environment. No or reduced use of herbicides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our soils and rivers, reduced health problems for farmers, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by lessening their contact with toxic chemicals.
Several retailers of baby clothes also make a range of organic clothing or you can find retailers completely committed to organic baby clothing. Anyway, there are a lot of marks to choose from and all ages are provided for, from babies to teenagers. Obviously, organic clothes for men and women is also obtainable and I am looking into that for myself and my man.
I am not saying that I am only ever going to buy organic cotton or bamboo cotton clothing (which is an excellent alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my children but I am definitely going try to whenever I can.
