Before I had my children, I had not thought I would belong to a mothers group. However, now that I am finally a mother, talking to other parents about what is going on in my life has been a huge help. No or a reduction in the use of pesticides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our land and waterways, fewer health problems for farmers, and fewer health risks for children by reducing their contact with toxic chemicals.
