Long before I had my children, I had not thought I would be part of a mothers group. Anyhow, now that I am finally a mother, being able to talk to other mothers about what is happening in my life has really helped me. We chat about how we raise our children, what to do and not to do, we share baby food recipes, and we like to chat about the newest baby clothes we have purchased.

No or a reduction in the use of herbicides and fertilizers means less pollution of our land and waterways, reduced diseases for farm workers, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by lessening their contact with toxic chemicals.
