Before I had my children, I never imagined I would join a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I am a mum, being able to talk to other women about what is taking place in my life has really helped me. Buying organic clothing means you are purchasing produce which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less damage to soils and waterways. No or reduced use of herbicides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our farms and lakes, reduced cancers for farm employees, and fewer health risks for children by lessening their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.

Either way, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are catered for, from babies to older children. Naturally, organic clothing for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my man.

I am not saying that I am only ever going to buy organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is a fantastic alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am definitely going try to whenever it is available.
