Baby Clothes FREEPORT

Back before I had my children, I had not imagined I would belong to a mothers group. However, now that I have become a new mother, talking to other mothers about what is happening in my life has really helped me. We discuss how we raise our children, what to do and not to do, we share meal plans, and we love to chat about the latest baby clothes we have picked up.
I generally get together with 4 other mothers, once a fortnight, to catch up on the latest new. We often meet at Cornucopia (which is in FREEPORT, IL) as that is pretty central for all of us. Last time was more interesting seeing we chatted about organic baby clothes. I have been providing my baby girl organic food from day one but I had never thought about getting organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most popular plants in America and one of the most ruinous to the environment and to farm workers. The run off from these farms has destroyed habitats and particularly water supplies. Organic produce is grown without the need for artificial fertilisers and pesticides. Alternatively, organic farming depends on things like crop rotation, enhancing soils naturally, and using organic insect control methods.
Benefits of Organic Baby Clothing
Getting organic clothing means you are purchasing produce which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at a minimum in a way which causes less damage to the environment. No or a reduction in the use of pesticides and fertilisers means less pollution of our land and rivers, less health problems for farm workers, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by reducing their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.
Several producers of baby clothes also sell a range of organic clothing or you can find retailers entirely dedicated to organic baby fashion. Anyway, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are provided for, from toddlers to adolescents. Of course, organic clothes for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my husband.
I do not think that I am only ever going to get organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is an excellent alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my children but I am definitely going try to whenever I can.
