Baby Clothes FLINTON
Filed Under (Organic Baby Clothes) by Kaye on 02-10-2009
Back before I had my baby, I never really imagined I would be part of a mothers group. However, now that I am a mum, talking to other women about what is taking place in my life has really helped me. We talk about how we raise our children, what to do and not to do, we share recipes, and we enjoy being able to discuss the latest baby outfits we have purchased.
I more often than not go out with 4 other women, once a fortnight, to catch up on the latest gossip. We often meet at Sleepy Valley Motel (which is in FLINTON, PA) as that is quite central for all of us. Last week was more interesting because we chatted about baby clothes. I have been giving my baby organic meals from the start but it had never crossed my mind to buying organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most widely grown products in America and one of the most ruinous to the environment and to farm employees. The run off from these farms has destroyed the environment and particularly water bodies. Organic produce is made without the use of artificial fertilisers and pesticides. Alternatively, organic farming depends on things like crop rotation, improving soils naturally, and using eco friendly pest control techniques.
You can purchase organic baby clothing online from a number of stores. Sckoon has some gorgeous organic baby clothes.

Benefits of Choosing Organic Products
Buying organic products means you are getting produce which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less damage to the environment. No or reduced use of herbicides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our farms and lakes, less cancers for farm workers, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by lessening their contact with dangerous chemicals.
Several retailers of baby clothes also sell a range of organic clothing or you can find stores completely committed to organic baby clothing. Thankfully, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are provided for, from toddlers to older children. Obviously, organic fashion for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.
I do not think that I am only going to buy organic cotton or bamboo cotton clothing (which is a fantastic alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my children but I am definitely going try to whenever it is available.
