Baby Clothes FARMERSVILLE

Back before I had my first child, I never really believed I would belong to a mothers group. However, now that I have become a mum, talking to other mothers about what is taking place in my life has benefited me immensely. We talk about how we deal with our children, what to do and not to do, we share recipes, and we like to chat about the latest baby clothes we have purchased.

I more often than not get together with 2 other women, once a month, to hear about the latest gossip. We generally meet at Daddy-O'S DOO Wop Diner (which is in FARMERSVILLE, TX) as that is fairly central for all of us. Last month was particularly exciting as we talked about organic baby clothes. I have been providing my baby girl organic meals from day one but I had never thought about getting organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most widely grown plants in the world and one of the most devastating to the habitat and to farm workers. The run off from these farms has destroyed ecosystems and particularly water ways. Organic products are grown without the use of artificial fertilisers and insecticides. Instead, organic farming depends on things like crop rotation, raising the quality of soils naturally, and using eco friendly pest control methods.

Benefits of Organic Clothing

Buying organic clothing means you are getting products which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less damage to soils and waterways. No or a reduction in the use of insecticides and fertilizers means less pollution of our land and lakes, less diseases for farmers, and fewer health risks for children by lessening their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.

A number of retailers of baby clothes also sell a range of organic clothes or you can find stores completely committed to organic baby clothing. Either way, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are taken care of, from toddlers to teenagers. Naturally, organic clothing for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my man.

I would not go as far to say that I am only going to purchase organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is an amazing alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am absolutely going try to whenever possible.
