Baby Clothes FALLS CHURCH

Before I had my baby, I never really thought I would be part of a mothers group. However, now that I have become a new mother, being able to talk to other mothers about what is happening in my life has been a huge help. We discuss how we deal with our children, what to do and not to do, we share baby food recipes, and we like to chat about the newest baby outfits we have purchased.
I generally go out with 4 other women, once a fortnight, to find out the latest new. We often meet at Neisha Thai Cuisine (which is in FALLS CHURCH, VA) as that is quite central for all of us. Last time was more interesting because we discussed organic baby clothing. I have been feeding my baby girl organic meals from day one but I had never thought about buying organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most popular products in the world and one of the most devastating to the environment and to farm workers. The run off from cotton farms has damaged habitats and particularly water supplies. Organic produce is grown without the use of artificial fertilisers and pesticides. Alternatively, organic farming relies on things like crop rotation, improving soils naturally, and using organic insect control methods.
Benefits of Organic Clothing
Getting organic produce means you are buying products which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at a minimum in a way which causes less contamination of our habitat. No or less use of insecticides and fertilizers means less pollution of our soils and rivers, fewer cancers for farm employees, and fewer health risks for children by lessening their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.
A number of producers of baby clothes also sell a range of organic clothes or you can find wholesalers completely committed to organic baby clothing. Anyway, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are catered for, from babies to teenagers. Naturally, organic clothes for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my man.
I would not go as far to say that I am only going to get organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is a fantastic alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my children but I am definitely going try to whenever it is available.
