Baby Clothes ESSEX JUNCTION

Before I had my first child, I had not believed I would join a mothers group. Anyhow, now that I am finally a new mother, being able to talk to other mothers about what is taking place in my life has been a huge help. We discuss how we deal with our children, what to do and not to do, we share meal plans, and we like to chat about the newest baby fashions we have purchased.

I more often than not meet with 4 other parents, once a month, to hear about the latest happenings. We generally meet at Mimmo's Pizza (which is in ESSEX JUNCTION, VT) as that is quite central for all of us. Last week was particularly interesting as we chatted about organic baby clothing. I have been providing my baby boy organic meals from the beginning but I had never thought about getting organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most widely grown products in America and one of the most ruinous to the habitat and to farm employees. The run off from cotton farms has ruined ecosystems and especially water supplies. Organic produce is produced without using artificial fertilisers and pesticides. Alternatively, organic farming depends upon things like crop rotation, improving soils naturally, and using eco friendly pest control methods.

You can get organic baby clothes online from a number of stores. Sckoon has some of the cutest organic baby clothing.

Benefits of Organic Clothing

Buying organic clothing means you are getting produce which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less contamination of our habitat. No or less use of insecticides and fertilizers means less pollution of our land and rivers, fewer cancers for farmers, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by lessening their contact with toxic chemicals.

Quite a few producers of baby clothes also sell a range of organic items or you can find retailers solely dedicated to organic baby clothing. Either way, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are catered for, from infants to older children. Naturally, organic clothing for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.

I would not go as far to say that I am only going to purchase organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is a good alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my children but I am definitely going try to whenever I can.
