Baby Clothes ELMWOOD PARK

Long before I had my children, I never imagined I would belong to a mothers group. Anyhow, now that I am finally a mum, talking to other women about what is taking place in my life has benefited me immensely. We discuss how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share recipes, and we like to discuss the newest baby outfits we have bought.
I more often than not go out with 4 other mothers, once a week, to find out the latest happenings. We usually meet at Harpos Grand Dog (which is in ELMWOOD PARK, IL) as that is pretty central for all of us. Last time was more eye opening as we talked about organic baby clothing. I have been providing my baby boy organic food from the beginning but I had not considered purchasing organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most widely grown plants in the world and one of the most devastating to the environment and to farmers. The run off from these farms has damaged ecosystems and especially water ways. Organic produce is produced without using artificial fertilisers and insecticides. Alternatively, organic farming depends on things like crop rotation, enhancing soils naturally, and using organic insect control methods.
You can buy soft organic cotton baby outfits online from a number of shops. Sckoon has some beautiful organic baby clothes.

Benefits of Organic Clothing
Buying organic clothes means you are buying produce which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at a minimum in a way which causes less contamination of soils and waterways. No or less use of pesticides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our soils and waterways, reduced health problems for farm employees, and fewer health risks for our children by reducing their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.
A number of producers of baby clothes also sell a range of organic clothes or you can find shops solely committed to organic baby clothing. Thankfully, there are a lot of marks to choose from and all ages are catered for, from toddlers to teenagers. Of course, organic fashion for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.
I am not saying that I am only ever going to purchase organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is an excellent alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am definitely going try to whenever possible.
