Baby Clothes ELKIN

Back before I had my children, I never really thought I would join a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I am finally a new mother, chatting to other mothers about what is happening in my life has really helped me. We chat about how we deal with our children, what to do and not to do, we share recipes, and we love to chat about the most recent baby clothes we have picked up.
I more often than not get together with 2 other women, once a fortnight, to find out the latest new. We usually meet at Jordan's Country Restaurant 2 (which is in ELKIN, NC) as that is quite central for all of us. Last time was really eye opening because we talked about baby clothes. I have been feeding my baby boy organic food from day one but it had never crossed my mind to getting organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most widely grown products in America and one of the most devastating to the ecosystem and to farm workers. The run off from non-organic cotton farms has damaged ecosystems and in particular water supplies. Organic cotton is made without the need for artificial fertilisers and pesticides. Alternatively, organic farming relies on things like crop rotation, improving soils naturally, and using eco friendly pest control practices.
Benefits of Organic Clothing
Getting organic clothes means you are purchasing clothes which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less damage to the environment. No or a reduction in the use of pesticides and fertilizers means less pollution of our farms and rivers, less health problems for farm employees, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by moderating their contact with dangerous chemicals.
Many producers of baby clothes also produce a range of organic items or you can find companies entirely committed to organic baby clothes. Anyway, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are catered for, from babies to older children. Of course, organic fashion for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.
I do not think that I am only going to buy organic cotton or bamboo cotton clothing (which is a fantastic alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am without a doubt going try to whenever possible.
