Baby Clothes EAST ROCKAWAY

Before I had my first child, I had not believed I would belong to a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I am a mum, talking to other women about what is happening in my life has been a huge help. We discuss how we deal with our children, what to do and not to do, we share baby food recipes, and we love to chat about the latest baby fashions we have picked up.

I more often than not get together with 4 other parents, once a week, to find out the latest new. We usually meet at East Rockaway Bagel Deli (which is in EAST ROCKAWAY, NY) as that is quite central for all of us. Last week was really eye opening because we talked about organic baby clothing. I have been providing my baby girl organic food from day one but I had not considered buying organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most popular crops in America and one of the most devastating to the environment and to farm employees. The run off from these farms has ruined the environment and in particular water ways. Organic products are made without the need for artificial fertilisers and pesticides. Instead, organic farming relies on things like crop rotation, improving soils naturally, and using eco friendly pest control methods.

You can get organic cotton baby clothing online from a number of shops. Sckoon has some gorgeous organic baby clothes.

Benefits of Choosing Organic Products

Purchasing organic produce means you are buying produce which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at a minimum in a way which causes less pollution of the environment. No or reduced use of insecticides and fertilizers means less pollution of our farms and waterways, fewer diseases for farmers, and fewer health risks for our children by reducing their contact with dangerous chemicals.

Quite a few retailers of baby clothes also sell a range of organic clothes or you can find designers entirely dedicated to organic baby fashion. Thankfully, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are catered for, from babies to teenagers. Obviously, organic clothing for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my husband.

I would not go as far to say that I am just going to buy organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is an amazing alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am most definitely going try to whenever possible.
