Baby Clothes DOVER

Long before I had my children, I had not believed I would be part of a mothers group. Anyhow, now that I am finally a mum, talking to other parents about what is taking place in my life has benefited me immensely. We discuss how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share meal plans, and we like to discuss the latest baby fashions we have purchased.
I generally meet with 4 other parents, once a week, to catch up on the latest happenings. We generally meet at Market Sub & Steak (which is in DOVER, DE) as that is fairly central for all of us. Last month was more eye opening because we talked about organic baby clothing. I have been giving my baby boy organic produce from the beginning but I had not considered getting organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most broadly grown products in the world and one of the most devastating to the ecosystem and to farm workers. The run off from these farms has ruined the environment and particularly water ways. Organic cotton is grown without the use of artificial fertilisers and insecticides. Alternatively, organic farming depends on things like crop rotation, enhancing soils naturally, and using eco friendly pest control practices.
You can get organic cotton baby clothes online from a number of retailers. Sckoon has some of the cutest organic baby apparel.

Benefits of Organic Baby Clothing
Purchasing organic clothing means you are buying clothes which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less pollution of the environment. No or less use of pesticides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our soils and waterways, fewer health problems for farm workers, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by lessening their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.
Quite a few makers of baby clothes also sell a range of organic clothes or you can find designers solely dedicated to organic baby fashion. Either way, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are catered for, from babies to teenagers. Obviously, organic clothing for men and women is also obtainable and I am looking into that for myself and my husband.
I would not go as far to say that I am only going to buy organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is a good alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my children but I am definitely going try to whenever possible.

Great post! My sister only buys organic clothes for her baby and she loves it, she say there is no way of her going back to non organic!
