Baby Clothes DERMOTT

Back before I had my first child, I never really thought I would join a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I am finally a mum, chatting to other women about what is happening in my life has really helped me. We talk about how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share meal plans, and we love to talk about the most recent baby outfits we have picked up.

I generally get together with 2 other women, once a week, to catch up on the latest new. We often meet at Dermott Barbecue & Sandwich Shop (which is in DERMOTT, AR) as that is pretty central for all of us. Last month was particularly exciting because we talked about organic baby clothes. I have been providing my baby boy organic produce from day one but I had not considered purchasing organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most broadly grown products in America and one of the most harmful to the habitat and to farm workers. The run off from non-organic cotton farms has destroyed habitats and especially water ways. Organic cotton is made without the need for artificial fertilisers and chemicals. Rather, organic farming relies on things like crop rotation, improving soils naturally, and using organic insect control practices.

You can buy soft organic cotton baby clothes online from a number of shops. Sckoon has some gorgeous organic baby apparel.

Benefits of Organic Baby Clothing

Buying organic produce means you are getting products which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less damage to our habitat. No or reduced use of herbicides and fertilisers means less pollution of our land and rivers, fewer health problems for farmers, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by moderating their contact with dangerous chemicals.

Several retailers of baby clothes also sell a range of organic clothes or you can find wholesalers completely dedicated to organic baby clothes. Anyway, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are provided for, from infants to teenagers. Naturally, organic fashion for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.

I would not go as far to say that I am only ever going to get organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is a great alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am without a doubt going try to whenever it is available.
