Baby Clothes DANVILLE

Long before I had my children, I never really imagined I would be part of a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I am a mother, being able to talk to other mothers about what is taking place in my life has really helped me. We talk about how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share meal plans, and we love to chat about the newest baby clothes we have purchased.

I generally get together with 3 other women, once a fortnight, to find out the latest gossip. We usually meet at Old Farm Restaurant (which is in DANVILLE, IN) as that is fairly central for all of us. Last month was particularly interesting as we chatted about organic baby clothes. I have been providing my baby girl organic meals from the start but it had never crossed my mind to buying organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most popular products in the US and one of the most harmful to the ecosystem and to farmers. The run off from cotton farms has ruined ecosystems and especially water supplies. Organic produce is produced without the need for artificial fertilisers and insecticides. Rather, organic farming depends upon things like crop rotation, improving soils naturally, and using eco friendly pest control practices.

You can purchase soft organic cotton baby clothes online from a number of retailers. Sckoon has some beautiful organic baby clothes.

Benefits of Organic Baby Clothing

Purchasing organic clothes means you are getting products which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at a minimum in a way which causes less contamination of the environment. No or less use of insecticides and fertilizers means less pollution of our land and rivers, reduced health problems for farmers, and fewer health risks for children by lessening their contact with toxic chemicals.

A number of retailers of baby clothes also sell a range of organic items or you can find retailers completely devoted to organic baby clothing. Either way, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are taken care of, from babies to teenagers. Of course, organic clothing for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my husband.

I do not think that I am only ever going to buy organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is an amazing alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am most definitely going try to whenever it is available.
