Baby Clothes CROSSVILLE
Filed Under (Organic Baby Clothes) by Kaye on 14-07-2010
Back before I had my baby, I never imagined I would belong to a mothers group. Anyhow, now that I am finally a mum, talking to other parents about what is taking place in my life has been a huge help. We chat about how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share meal plans, and we love to talk about the newest baby clothes we have purchased.
I generally meet with 2 other women, once a month, to find out the latest happenings. We often meet at Best Western Leisure Inn (which is in CROSSVILLE, TN) as that is pretty central for all of us. Last time was more eye opening as we discussed organic baby clothes. I have been providing my baby boy organic food from the start but I had never thought about purchasing organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most widely grown plants in the world and one of the most harmful to the habitat and to farmers. The run off from cotton farms has destroyed habitats and especially water ways. Organic products are grown without the use of artificial fertilisers and insecticides. Rather, organic farming depends on things like crop rotation, enhancing soils naturally, and using eco friendly pest control methods.
You can get beautiful organic baby apparel online from a number of stores. Sckoon has some gorgeous organic baby clothing.

Benefits of Organic Clothing
Buying organic produce means you are purchasing produce which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less pollution of the environment. No or reduced use of herbicides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our soils and waterways, less cancers for farmers, and fewer health risks for children by reducing their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.
Many makers of baby clothes also sell a range of organic clothes or you can find stores solely devoted to organic baby clothes. Anyway, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are provided for, from infants to older children. Naturally, organic clothes for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.
I would not go as far to say that I am just going to purchase organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is an amazing alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my children but I am without a doubt going try to whenever possible.
