Back before I had my baby, I never thought I would be part of a mothers group. However, now that I am a new mother, being able to talk to other parents about what is going on in my life has really helped me. We talk about how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share meal plans, and we love to discuss the latest baby clothes we have picked up.

Benefits of Organic Baby Clothing

Purchasing organic clothes means you are purchasing produce which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less damage to soils and waterways. No or a reduction in the use of insecticides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our land and lakes, reduced cancers for farm employees, and fewer health risks for our children by reducing their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.

Several producers of baby clothes also make a range of organic clothes or you can find retailers completely dedicated to organic baby clothing. Anyway, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are catered for, from babies to older children. Naturally, organic clothing for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my man.

I am not saying that I am just going to buy organic cotton or bamboo cotton clothing (which is an excellent alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am most definitely going try to whenever it is available.
