Before I had my first child, I never thought I would be part of a mothers group. Anyhow, now that I am a mum, talking to other mothers about what is going on in my life has really helped me. Getting organic produce means you are buying products which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less damage to the environment. No or reduced use of pesticides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our farms and rivers, less health problems for farm workers, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by lessening their contact with toxic chemicals.

Anyway, there are a lot of marks to choose from and all ages are taken care of, from babies to older children. Obviously, organic clothing for men and women is also obtainable and I am looking into that for myself and my husband.

I do not think that I am only ever going to buy organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is an excellent alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am definitely going try to whenever I can.
