Long before I had my first child, I had not believed I would join a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I am a mother, chatting to other mothers about what is going on in my life has benefited me immensely. We discuss how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share meal plans, and we like to talk about the most recent baby fashions we have bought.

I more often than not meet with 2 other mothers, once a week, to catch up on the latest gossip. We often meet at Sunrise Grill & Sub (which is in CHICAGO, IL) as that is fairly central for all of us. Cotton is one of the most widely grown crops in the US and one of the most ruinous to the habitat and to farm employees. The run off from non-organic cotton farms has damaged habitats and particularly water bodies. Organic products are made without the need for artificial fertilisers and pesticides. Alternatively, organic farming relies on things like crop rotation, improving soils naturally, and using organic insect control practices.

Benefits of Choosing Organic Products

Buying organic clothes means you are purchasing produce which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less contamination of the environment. No or reduced use of pesticides and fertilisers means less pollution of our land and lakes, less health problems for farmers, and fewer health risks for our children by lessening their contact with dangerous chemicals.

Several producers of baby clothes also sell a range of organic clothes or you can find companies entirely dedicated to organic baby fashion. Thankfully, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are taken care of, from infants to older children. Naturally, organic fashion for men and women is also obtainable and I am looking into that for myself and my husband.

I would not go as far to say that I am only ever going to purchase organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is an excellent alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my children but I am without a doubt going try to whenever possible.
