Baby Clothes BURNS

Back before I had my children, I never really thought I would belong to a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I am a new mother, chatting to other women about what is going on in my life has been a huge help. We talk about how we deal with our children, what to do and not to do, we share baby food recipes, and we enjoy being able to talk about the newest baby clothes we have purchased.
I usually go out with 4 other mothers, once a week, to catch up on the latest new. We generally meet at Ye Olde Castle (which is in BURNS, OR) as that is quite central for all of us. Last time was particularly exciting seeing we chatted about organic baby clothes. I have been providing my baby girl organic food from the beginning but I had never thought about purchasing organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most widely grown crops in America and one of the most harmful to the habitat and to farm employees. The run off from non-organic cotton farms has damaged the environment and particularly water bodies. Organic cotton is made without the need for artificial fertilisers and pesticides. Alternatively, organic farming depends upon things like crop rotation, raising the quality of soils naturally, and using organic insect control methods.
You can purchase organic cotton baby clothes online from a number of shops. Sckoon is my favourite for organic baby clothes.

Benefits of Organic Clothing
Buying organic clothing means you are purchasing produce which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at a minimum in a way which causes less damage to the environment. No or reduced use of herbicides and fertilisers means less pollution of our soils and rivers, fewer cancers for farm employees, and fewer health risks for children by moderating their contact with dangerous chemicals.
Several makers of baby clothes also sell a range of organic clothing or you can find companies entirely devoted to organic baby clothing. Either way, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are provided for, from babies to teenagers. Of course, organic clothes for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.
I am not saying that I am only ever going to get organic cotton or bamboo cotton clothing (which is a fantastic alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am definitely going try to whenever I can.
