Baby Clothes BROOMFIELD
Filed Under (Organic Baby Clothes) by Kaye on 25-10-2009
Long before I had my children, I had not imagined I would join a mothers group. However, now that I have become a new mother, chatting to other women about what is taking place in my life has been a huge help. We chat about how we raise our children, what to do and not to do, we share meal plans, and we enjoy being able to discuss the latest baby clothes we have bought.
I generally go out with 2 other mothers, once a fortnight, to hear about the latest happenings. We usually meet at Broomfield Bowl & Restaurant (which is in BROOMFIELD, CO) as that is pretty central for all of us. Last time was really interesting as we chatted about baby clothes. I have been giving my baby organic produce from the beginning but it had never crossed my mind to buying organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most widely grown plants in the US and one of the most devastating to the habitat and to farm employees. The run off from non-organic cotton farms has destroyed habitats and particularly water supplies. Organic products are grown without the need for artificial fertilisers and chemicals. Alternatively, organic farming relies on things like crop rotation, enhancing soils naturally, and using organic insect control practices.
You can purchase beautiful organic baby outfits online from a number of shops. Sckoon has some gorgeous organic baby clothing.

Benefits of Choosing Organic Products
Getting organic products means you are purchasing products which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less damage to our habitat. No or reduced use of pesticides and fertilizers means less pollution of our land and waterways, reduced cancers for farm employees, and fewer health risks for our children by reducing their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.
Quite a few makers of baby clothes also produce a range of organic clothing or you can find shops solely dedicated to organic baby clothes. Thankfully, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are taken care of, from infants to adolescents. Naturally, organic clothing for men and women is also obtainable and I am looking into that for myself and my husband.
I do not think that I am just going to buy organic cotton or bamboo cotton clothing (which is a great alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am most definitely going try to whenever I can.
