Baby Clothes BRONX

Back before I had my first child, I never really imagined I would join a mothers group. Anyhow, now that I am finally a mum, chatting to other women about what is happening in my life has been a huge help. We discuss how we deal with our children, what to do and not to do, we share meal plans, and we enjoy being able to discuss the most recent baby outfits we have purchased.

I usually get together with 4 other women, once a fortnight, to find out the latest gossip. We often meet at Diaz Deli & Grocery (which is in BRONX, NY) as that is pretty central for all of us. Last month was really interesting as we talked about baby clothes. I have been providing my baby boy organic produce from day one but I had not considered purchasing organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most popular plants in the world and one of the most harmful to the habitat and to farm employees. The run off from cotton farms has ruined the environment and especially water supplies. Organic cotton is produced without using artificial fertilisers and pesticides. Instead, organic farming depends upon things like crop rotation, raising the quality of soils naturally, and using eco friendly pest control practices.

You can purchase soft organic cotton baby clothing online from a number of shops. Sckoon has some of the cutest organic baby clothing.

Benefits of Choosing Organic Products

Buying organic clothing means you are getting products which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at a minimum in a way which causes less pollution of soils and waterways. No or a reduction in the use of pesticides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our soils and waterways, reduced cancers for farmers, and fewer health risks for children by reducing their contact with dangerous chemicals.

Many wholesalers of baby clothes also make a range of organic clothing or you can find shops completely dedicated to organic baby fashion. Either way, there are a lot of marks to choose from and all ages are provided for, from toddlers to teenagers. Obviously, organic clothing for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my husband.

I am not saying that I am only ever going to get organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is an amazing alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am absolutely going try to whenever it is available.
