Baby Clothes BOWLING GREEN
Filed Under (Organic Baby Clothes) by Kaye on 29-05-2009
Long before I had my children, I never thought I would join a mothers group. Anyhow, now that I am finally a mother, being able to talk to other parents about what is going on in my life has been a huge help. We discuss how we raise our children, what to do and not to do, we share recipes, and we enjoy being able to chat about the newest baby clothes we have purchased.
I usually meet with 2 other parents, once a fortnight, to find out the latest new. We usually meet at Comfort Inn Bowling Green (which is in BOWLING GREEN, KY) as that is pretty central for all of us. Last month was really interesting because we talked about baby clothes. I have been providing my baby boy organic produce from the start but it had never crossed my mind to getting organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most popular crops in America and one of the most devastating to the habitat and to farm workers. The run off from non-organic cotton farms has ruined the environment and especially water bodies. Organic produce is produced without the need for artificial fertilisers and pesticides. Alternatively, organic farming depends on things like crop rotation, raising the quality of soils naturally, and using eco friendly pest control methods.
You can get soft organic cotton baby apparel online from a number of shops. Sckoon has some beautiful organic baby clothing.

Benefits of Choosing Organic Products
Purchasing organic clothing means you are getting products which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less contamination of soils and waterways. No or less use of insecticides and fertilisers means less pollution of our land and rivers, reduced diseases for farm workers, and fewer health risks for our children by moderating their contact with dangerous chemicals.
Quite a few wholesalers of baby clothes also produce a range of organic items or you can find retailers completely dedicated to organic baby fashion. Thankfully, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are catered for, from babies to adolescents. Naturally, organic fashion for men and women is also obtainable and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.
I am not saying that I am only going to get organic cotton or bamboo cotton clothing (which is an excellent alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am definitely going try to whenever I can.
