Baby Clothes ANCHORAGE

Back before I had my first child, I never really thought I would join a mothers group. However, now that I have become a mum, talking to other parents about what is taking place in my life has been a huge help. We chat about how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share recipes, and we like to chat about the most recent baby clothes we have picked up.
I usually get together with 3 other women, once a week, to find out the latest gossip. We usually meet at Tempura Kitchen Inc (which is in ANCHORAGE, AK) as that is pretty central for all of us. Last time was particularly exciting because we chatted about organic baby clothing. I have been giving my baby boy organic meals from the start but I had not considered purchasing organic clothing for her.
Cotton is one of the most popular crops in the world and one of the most harmful to the habitat and to farm employees. The run off from non-organic cotton farms has destroyed habitats and particularly water bodies. Organic cotton is grown without the need for artificial fertilisers and insecticides. Alternatively, organic farming depends upon things like crop rotation, raising the quality of soils naturally, and using organic insect control techniques.
You can purchase soft organic cotton baby apparel online from a number of retailers. Sckoon has some of the cutest organic baby apparel.

Benefits of Organic Clothing
Buying organic produce means you are buying products which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less damage to soils and waterways. No or a reduction in the use of insecticides and fertilizers means less pollution of our land and waterways, less health problems for farm workers, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by lessening their contact with dangerous chemicals.
Several wholesalers of baby clothes also sell a range of organic clothes or you can find companies entirely dedicated to organic baby fashion. Either way, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are provided for, from toddlers to older children. Naturally, organic clothing for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my husband.
I do not think that I am only going to buy organic cotton or bamboo cotton clothing (which is an amazing alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am definitely going try to whenever I can.
