Before I had my baby, I never really imagined I would join a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I am a new mother, talking to other parents about what is happening in my life has benefited me immensely. We talk about how we raise our children, what to do and not to do, we share recipes, and we love to discuss the newest baby fashions we have purchased.

Benefits of Organic Clothing

Buying organic products means you are purchasing clothes which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at a minimum in a way which causes less damage to the environment. No or less use of pesticides and fertilizers means less pollution of our farms and rivers, reduced cancers for farmers, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by reducing their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.

A number of makers of baby clothes also sell a range of organic items or you can find companies solely committed to organic baby clothes. Anyway, there are a lot of marks to choose from and all ages are taken care of, from infants to teenagers. Obviously, organic clothing for men and women is also obtainable and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.

I would not go as far to say that I am only going to purchase organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is a great alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my children but I am definitely going try to whenever possible.
