Long before I had my first child, I never believed I would be part of a mothers group. Purchasing organic clothing means you are getting clothes which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less damage to the environment. No or reduced use of insecticides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our soils and waterways, fewer diseases for farmers, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by moderating their contact with toxic chemicals.

Thankfully, there are a lot of brands to choose from and all ages are taken care of, from infants to older children. Of course, organic clothes for men and women is also obtainable and I am looking into that for myself and my man.

I do not think that I am only going to get organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is an excellent alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am without a doubt going try to whenever possible.
