Organic Baby Clothing MESA

Before I had my children, I had not imagined I would belong to a mothers group. Be that as it may, now that I have become a mother, talking to other mothers about what is going on in my life has really helped me. We talk about how we deal with our children, what to do and not to do, we share baby food recipes, and we enjoy being able to chat about the newest baby fashions we have picked up.

I generally get together with 4 other parents, once a week, to hear about the latest new. We generally meet at El Charro Restaurant & Cocktail Lounge (which is in MESA, AZ) as that is fairly central for all of us. Last month was really eye opening because we talked about organic baby clothing. I have been feeding my baby organic meals from the beginning but I had never thought about purchasing organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most widely grown crops in America and one of the most devastating to the ecosystem and to farm workers. The run off from cotton farms has destroyed habitats and in particular water supplies. Organic products are grown without the need for artificial fertilisers and insecticides. Instead, organic farming depends on things like crop rotation, raising the quality of soils naturally, and using organic insect control methods.

Benefits of Choosing Organic Products

Purchasing organic clothes means you are purchasing produce which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less pollution of our habitat. No or a reduction in the use of pesticides and fertilisers means less pollution of our soils and waterways, fewer health problems for farmers, and fewer health risks for our children by reducing their contact with toxic chemicals.

Quite a few makers of baby clothes also sell a range of organic items or you can find companies entirely dedicated to organic baby clothing. Either way, there are a lot of marks to choose from and all ages are taken care of, from infants to older children. Naturally, organic clothing for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.

I am not saying that I am just going to get organic cotton or bamboo cotton clothing (which is a fantastic alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am absolutely going try to whenever I can.
