Organic Baby Clothes BANDON

Filed Under (Organic Baby Clothes) by Kaye on 31-05-2010

Long before I had my children, I never thought I would join a mothers group. Anyhow, now that I am finally a mum, being able to talk to other mothers about what is taking place in my life has really helped me. We discuss how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share meal plans, and we love to talk about the most recent baby fashions we have bought.

I generally go out with 4 other parents, once a week, to hear about the latest gossip. We generally meet at Billy Smoothboars (which is in BANDON, OR) as that is fairly central for all of us. Last time was particularly exciting as we chatted about organic baby clothing. I have been providing my baby boy organic food from the beginning but I had not considered buying organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most popular crops in the world and one of the most harmful to the environment and to farmers. The run off from cotton farms has ruined the environment and especially water bodies. Organic products are made without the need for artificial fertilisers and pesticides. Alternatively, organic farming relies on things like crop rotation, enhancing soils naturally, and using eco friendly pest control practices.

You can buy organic cotton baby apparel online from a number of shops. Sckoon has some beautiful organic baby clothes.

Benefits of Organic Clothing

Purchasing organic products means you are getting products which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less pollution of soils and waterways. No or reduced use of insecticides and fertilisers means less pollution of our farms and waterways, less cancers for farm employees, and fewer health risks for our children by lessening their contact with toxic chemicals.

Several retailers of baby clothes also sell a range of organic clothes or you can find stores entirely dedicated to organic baby fashion. Anyway, there are a lot of marks to choose from and all ages are provided for, from infants to adolescents. Obviously, organic clothing for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.

I would not go as far to say that I am only going to get organic cotton or bamboo cotton clothing (which is an excellent alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am without a doubt going try to whenever I can.

Back before I had my baby, I had not believed I would join a mothers group. However, now that I have become a new mother, talking to other women about what is taking place in my life has benefited me immensely. We chat about how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share meal plans, and we like to discuss the newest baby fashions we have bought.

I more often than not get together with 4 other women, once a fortnight, to find out the latest new. We generally meet at On Time Delivery (which is in BALTIMORE, MD) as that is quite central for all of us. Last time was more eye opening because we talked about organic baby clothes. I have been providing my baby girl organic meals from the beginning but it had never crossed my mind to getting organic clothing for her.

Benefits of Organic Baby Clothing

Getting organic produce means you are getting products which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less contamination of our habitat. No or a reduction in the use of herbicides and fertilisers means less pollution of our farms and lakes, reduced diseases for farm employees, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by lessening their contact with toxic chemicals.

Several producers of baby clothes also produce a range of organic clothes or you can find wholesalers solely committed to organic baby clothes. Thankfully, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are provided for, from toddlers to teenagers. Of course, organic clothing for men and women is also available and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.

I am not saying that I am only going to purchase organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is a fantastic alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my children but I am definitely going try to whenever possible.
