Organic Baby Clothing SAINT LOUIS

Back before I had my children, I had not believed I would join a mothers group. Anyhow, now that I am a mum, being able to talk to other women about what is happening in my life has really helped me. We talk about how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share baby food recipes, and we love to talk about the latest baby outfits we have picked up.

I generally meet with 2 other mothers, once a fortnight, to catch up on the latest gossip. We often meet at Sunset 44 Restaurant (which is in SAINT LOUIS, MO) as that is fairly central for all of us. Last month was particularly exciting because we chatted about organic baby clothes. I have been providing my baby girl organic meals from the beginning but I had never thought about purchasing organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most popular crops in America and one of the most ruinous to the habitat and to farmers. The run off from cotton farms has ruined ecosystems and particularly water ways. Organic cotton is grown without the need for artificial fertilisers and insecticides. Rather, organic farming depends upon things like crop rotation, improving soils naturally, and using organic pest control methods.

Benefits of Choosing Organic Products

Getting organic clothes means you are buying produce which have been produced in an environmentally friendly manner, or at least in a way which causes less contamination of the environment. No or a reduction in the use of herbicides and synthetic fertilisers means less pollution of our land and waterways, reduced diseases for farmers, and fewer health risks for children by reducing their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.

Several wholesalers of baby clothes also produce a range of organic clothing or you can find shops completely committed to organic baby clothes. Either way, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are taken care of, from babies to teenagers. Naturally, organic clothing for men and women is also accessible and I am looking into that for myself and my man.

I am not saying that I am only ever going to get organic cotton or bamboo cotton clothing (which is a great alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am absolutely going try to whenever it is available.

Back before I had my baby, I had not imagined I would join a mothers group. However, now that I have become a new mother, being able to talk to other mothers about what is going on in my life has really helped me. We discuss how we bring up our children, what to do and not to do, we share baby food recipes, and we enjoy being able to talk about the latest baby outfits we have bought.

I more often than not go out with 3 other parents, once a fortnight, to catch up on the latest new. We generally meet at Pizza Heaven (which is in DREXEL HILL, PA) as that is quite central for all of us. Last month was more eye opening as we discussed organic baby clothing. I have been feeding my baby girl organic produce from day one but I had not considered buying organic clothing for her.

Cotton is one of the most popular products in the US and one of the most ruinous to the environment and to farm employees. The run off from cotton farms has destroyed habitats and particularly water supplies. Organic produce is produced without the need for artificial fertilisers and insecticides. Rather, organic farming relies on things like crop rotation, enhancing soils naturally, and using eco friendly pest control techniques.

Purchasing organic clothing means you are buying produce which have been produced in an eco friendly manner, or at a minimum in a way which causes less damage to our habitat. No or a reduction in the use of herbicides and fertilisers means less pollution of our soils and rivers, less cancers for farm workers, and fewer health risks for our babies and children by moderating their contact with dangerous chemicals.

A number of producers of baby clothes also sell a range of organic clothes or you can find wholesalers solely dedicated to organic baby clothing. Thankfully, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are provided for, from toddlers to older children. Obviously, organic clothes for men and women is also obtainable and I am looking into that for myself and my partner.

I do not think that I am just going to buy organic cotton or bamboo clothes (which is a good alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my child but I am absolutely going try to whenever possible.

Cotton is one of the most broadly grown products in America and one of the most devastating to the habitat and to farm workers. The run off from non-organic cotton farms has destroyed ecosystems and in particular water supplies. Organic cotton is produced without using artificial fertilisers and pesticides. Alternatively, organic farming depends upon things like crop rotation, raising the quality of soils naturally, and using organic insect control practices.

Buying organic clothing means you are getting produce which have been produced in an eco-friendly manner, or at the very least in a way which causes less pollution of our habitat. No or less use of insecticides and fertilizers means less pollution of our soils and waterways, reduced cancers for farmers, and fewer health risks for children by moderating their contact with potentially dangerous chemicals.

Many makers of baby clothes also make a range of organic clothes or you can find shops completely dedicated to organic baby fashion. Anyway, there are a lot of designs to choose from and all ages are catered for, from toddlers to older children. I would not go as far to say that I am just going to get organic cotton or bamboo clothing (which is an excellent alternative to regular or organic cotton) for my baby but I am without a doubt going try to whenever I can.
